Gobi Aloo Ki Sabji | Cauliflower Potato Recipe

Aloo Gobi is a vegetarian traditional Punjabi dish with aloo(potatoes) and gobi(cauliflower). Mostly everyone like gobi in Punjab. Gobi ki sabji, gobi ka parantha, gobi ka achar, gobi ke pakode, gobi ke snacks: we can use gobi in many ways.


So, here is a quick and simple way to make ALOO GOBI.

INGREDIENTS:


  • Gobi(cauliflower)
  • Aloo(Potatoes)
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Ginger
  • Garam masala
  • Coriander powder
  • Garlic 
  • 2 green chillies 
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder 
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste

  How To Make Aloo Gobi WITHOUT Onions?

   So here is the answer.....

     1. Put a pan(cooker) on low heat, then add oil.

     2. Once the oil(ghee) gets heated add Cauliflower and potatoes.

     3. Saute it for 4 -5 mins.

     4.Then add ginger, garlic, green chilli paste in it.

    5. After that add tomatoes.

     6. Also add dry masalas(turmeric,salt,coriander powder,red chilli powder)

(you can also add Maggi magic masala


      7. Then cover the pan with the lid and simmer it for 6-7 min.

       8. After that mix them properly and again simmer it for 6-7 mins.
           (check whether gobi and potatoes are cooked or not, 
              if potatoes are not cooked then simmer it for 2-3 mins)
       
        9. Then serve it with chapatti.

So, here is a quick and simple way to make ALOO BEANS .

GREEN BEANS also known as FALIYAN or FRENCH BEANS

Aloo Beans: A very healthy and tasty dish. Also, it is very easy to cook and we don't need many ingredients for preparing this dish. we can use beans in many ways, we can make beans curry, beans ki sabji with adding potatoes(aloo) or we can use beans in noodles etc. 

Two Different Recipes of Aloo Beans 

INGREDIENTS:

  • Aloo(Potatoes)
  • Beans(French Beans)
  • Chopped Onions
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Ginger
  • Cumin seeds
  • Garam masala
  • Coriander powder
  • Garlic 
  • 2 green chillies 
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala 
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste

So here is the answer.....

1.Put a pan(cooker) on low heat, then add oil.

2.Once the oil(ghee) gets heated add garlic.

3. After that add chopped onions.

4 Then add chopped ginger.

5. Also, add green chillies.

6. And then chopped tomatoes. and fry all these things until it(masala) turns golden.

7.Then add all dry spices i.e red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and saute it.

8. Once the masala is ready put chopped vegetables( beans and aloo). Don't forget to wash the vegetables.

9. Then simmer the gas for 8-10 mins ,  put the lid on the cooker(pan).



10. Then serve this delicious dish with chapati or rice.

 How To Make Aloo Beans WITHOUT Onions and Tomatoes?

So here is the answer.....

1.Put a pan(cooker) on low heat, then add oil.

2.Once the oil(ghee) gets heated add cumin seeds .

3.Then add potatoes and saute it for 4-5 mins .

4. Reduce the heat of gas and add beans and cook both veggies for 8-9 mins.

5.Once the vegetables will get cooked add dry masalas like turmeric powder, salt, garam masala, coriander powder.

6.After adding all these things cook it for 4-5 mins on low flame.

7. Then serve this dish with chapati.
